Windows 7

Windows 7 is Microsoft's successor to Windows Vista. As with Vista, Microsoft is mainly releasing three different versions: Home Premium, Professional, and Ultimate.

While built around the same core, each version has different features. Similar to different trim levels of the same car, the cost and ‘standard equipment’ increase as you move up the versions.
